Tie-X / Tie Fighter Design Study / 2016

Tie-X / A personal Tie Fighter design study / 2016

Out of the shadows comes the Tie-X, Vader's secret advanced Tie-Fighter project. Only a handful escaped the Death Star before it's untimely demise. These advanced Tie-Fighters were built to be the most agile in the Empire, carrying out secret missions for Vader across the galaxy. Now after many years proof of these ships resurface's to give us a glimpse into the Empire's true power in space combat.

I am happy to present my personal Tie-Fighter project after 4 months of hard work. My goal was to design a ship that fits into the Star Wars galaxy while also embodying my own design influences. I also used this opportunity to improve my skills in polygon modelling using Maya, and rendering using Cinema 4D. Thanks for having a look and I look forward to your comments!
